From the time I was two, my parents knew I would be artistic when I had an uncanny ability to stay in the lines when colouring while the other kids were scribbling all over the page. As I got older, I discovered my love for portraying the human figure and committed a majority of my time to various different forms of art such as sketching, painting, and sculpting. As you can imagine, having children put my love for art on hold as life became very busy. Recently my daughter came home from my parent's house, where my art still remains on my bedroom walls, and asked me why I never draw anymore. In that moment I wondered the same thing! As a result, here we are today. I've rediscovered my love for art and it has taken a turn based on what my children loved and wanted mommy to paint or draw. A large number of my pieces are geared towards children's rooms but I am able to draw, paint or sketch just about anything. A most recent common request I'm receiving is for animal portraits which I love doing as I know just how much our pets mean to us.
